At a time of difficulty, W J Angove & Son Funeral Directors offers a guiding hand. Based in Falmouth, we will help you to arrange a funeral that is a heartfelt and moving tribute to your loved one’s life.
Established in the town more than 80 years ago, the experience we have gained over this time, passed on from one generation to the next, allows us to organise a dignified farewell in accordance with your wishes. Your wellbeing matters to us and as we guide you through the process, we will offer comfort and kindness, ensuring you always have our support and are not left making decisions alone.
Our team of funeral directors will help to ease some of the uncertainty you may be feeling following your loss, while sharing a little of the burden that comes with such a life-changing event.
The funeral can be tailored to the individual preferences of you and your family, so it uniquely reflects your loved one’s personality. Whether it is religious, humanist, traditional, contemporary, or even a burial at sea, we can arrange it to suit.
Our funeral home is situated at the bottom end of Webber Street (where it meets the High Street and Market Strand) and we are easily accessible to all areas of Falmouth and nearby Penryn. We are also within reach of surrounding towns and villages, including Stithians, Budock Water, Constantine, Mabe Burnthouse and Mawnan Smith.
There is both a chapel of rest and a service chapel located at our funeral home. The chapel of rest offers a private and comfortable space in which to spend time with your loved one. It can be opened outside of our normal hours to allow a visit at a time convenient to you. The service chapel is a peaceful setting in which up to 40 people can gather to pay their respects and contemplate on a life that has passed. Our funeral directors will be able to help if you would like to use either of these.
